The information in this article can help you when:

    • You are unable to start a multiplayer game in Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit.
    • The multiplayer option is greyed out and you are unable to select it.

    Important Information

    • Each player must have their own Nintendo Switch console or Nintendo Switch Lite system and a kart from the Mario Set or Luigi Set.
    • For the best multiplayer experience, players should sit near each other so that their Nintendo Switch consoles can communicate without interference.
    • You must complete a single-player race before you can access the Multiplayer menu.

    What to do

    1. On each console, create a course and complete a single-player race.

      Important Information
