How to Access the Nintendo Switch Online Classic Game Libraries

Instructions on how to access the Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Nintendo 64 and SEGA Mega Drive game libraries available via Nintendo Switch Online.
Important:
- An active Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to access the Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online and Super Nintendo Entertainment System – Nintendo Switch Online classic game libraries.
- An active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership is required to access the Nintendo 64 – Nintendo Switch Online and SEGA Mega Drive – Nintendo Switch Online classic game libraries.
- Nintendo eShop access on Nintendo Switch may depend on the country/region setting for your Nintendo Account.
Complete These Steps:
- From the left-hand menu in Nintendo eShop on a Nintendo Switch console, select "Nintendo Switch Online".
- In the "Content for Members Only" section, select the classic game library you would like to download.
- Please keep in mind that only Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members can access the Nintendo 64 – Nintendo Switch Online and SEGA Mega Drive – Nintendo Switch Online classic game libraries.
- Select "Free Download" twice.
- Once downloaded, the games will be available to all users on the console with an active Nintendo Switch Online or Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership.
- Internet access may be required periodically to confirm your membership status.
