How to Access Your Nintendo eShop Account Information

Description:

  • Instructions on accessing your Nintendo eShop Account Information on Nintendo Switch.

Complete These Steps:

  1. Select “Nintendo eShop” on the HOME Menu to launch Nintendo eShop.
  2. If there are multiple users on your console, select the user you want to use to open eShop.
  3. Select the picture of your icon in the upper-right corner to access your Account Information.
  4. The following options are available:
    • General account information (listed as your icon and account name) - the following options are available:
      • Current balance - View your current balance, add funds, and/or merge funds with a Nintendo Network ID.
      • Current points - Displays the My Nintendo Gold Points that you currently have available to use towards a purchase.
      • Credit card information - View information about your saved credit card information (last 4 digits and card expiry date) and/or delete the saved credit card.
      • PayPal account - View information about your linked PayPal account (partial email) and/or unlink the PayPal account from your Nintendo Account.
      • Payment method for automatic renewal - Choose the payment method that will be used for automatic renewal for your memberships and/or passes. ("Credit card", "PayPal" and "Funds only" are the available options).
      • Password entry settings - Choose to either skip or require a password when using Nintendo eShop.

        Important:

        If you choose not to require a password, your funds and account information will be accessible by other people who use your Nintendo Switch console. You can adjust this setting at any time while you’re in Nintendo eShop.
        • Choose to skip or require the password when accessing Nintendo eShop with your account, using stored credit card information, or using a linked PayPal account to make a digital purchase.
      • Primary console - Verify whether the current console is the primary console for your Nintendo Account, and deregister it if desired.
    • Watch List - View or remove Nintendo eShop items that are currently on your Watch List.
    • Redownload - Redownload your previous digital purchases.
    • Nintendo Switch Online - Verify the status of your Nintendo Switch Online membership, adjust automatic renewal settings and view or redeem your purchased Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers.
    • Pass Settings - Verify the status of your passes and adjust automatic renewal settings as applicable.
