General Problems With Physical Software (Including Error Message: Nothing Inserted in the Game Card Slot)
Description:
- A game card is inserted in the console but the software application cannot be opened or started.
- A message is displayed which reads: “Could not start the software. Please try again from the HOME Menu".
- A message is displayed which reads: "Insert the game card".
Additional Information:
- Nintendo Switch consoles are compatible only with game cards made for these consoles. They are not compatible with game cards intended for other devices.
- In order for a Nintendo Switch console to properly read a game card, it must be inserted into the game card slot with the label facing the same direction as the LCD screen.
