How Much Are My Nintendo Gold Points Worth Towards Digital Purchases?
Information:
My Nintendo members earn Gold Points equivalent to the following percentage of the price on Nintendo eShop (excluding any points or discounts used):
- 5% for digital software (Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS, and Wii U)
- 1% for physical purchases (Nintendo Switch)
They can be redeemed for £0.01 (or €0.01) per Gold Point towards digital Nintendo Switch purchases.
For example - if you spend £59.99 (or €59.99) to purchase a digital game, you will accrue 300 Gold Points (5%). This equates to £3.00 (or €3.00) in Gold Point value that you can apply to a future purchase of Nintendo Switch software on the official Nintendo website or in Nintendo eShop for Switch.

- The value of a Gold Point when used for digital purchases differs per currency.
- The currency of a Gold Point is determined by the Nintendo Account country setting at the time the point was earned, and can not be changed thereafter.
- This valuation only applies when spending on digital purchases. When used for other rewards, there is no fixed value.
