Good news from the latest Nintendo Direct presentation: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 releases on Nintendo Switch on December 1st! Yes, this year!

There was loads of new info in the presentation, including a look at several new Titans that live in Alrest, along with the civilisations that live atop or even within them. It seems that the Cloud Sea isn’t as peaceful as it might first appear…

Gramps, a Titan who acts as a guardian and a sort of landlord to protagonist Rex, explained some key info about Blades and battles. It’s probably best if you hear it straight from him.

That’s not all! Alongside the regular version, Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Collector’s Edition will also be available* as a special bundle with a number of bonus items. On the same day, Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Edition (sold separately) will also be released.
