There are plenty of reasons to take your Nintendo 3DS or 2DS out and about this summer with StreetPass – and for a limited time, you can purchase additional StreetPass Mii Plaza games for a discounted price!
If you carry your Nintendo 3DS or 2DS with you wherever you go, it’ll automatically search for and exchange data with other powered on Nintendo 3DS or 2DS systems. Certain titles are enhanced with StreetPass functionality, bringing new possibilities to a range of games: show off your pets in nintendogs + cats, let players have a look around your home in Animal Crossing: New Leaf and much more!
In StreetPass Mii Plaza, included with every Nintendo 3DS and 2DS, you can play games that are only possible with StreetPass. On top of the games built into every system – Puzzle Swap and StreetPass Quest – four additional StreetPass Mii Plaza games are also available to purchase!
From 14:00 (local time) on June 26th 2014 until 23:59 (local time) on July 13th 2014, each of the four additional StreetPass Mii Plaza games are available for the sale price of R48 each, down from the usual price of R60 each. Or if you’d like to try them all, you can pick up all four games together for just R120, down from the usual price of R180!
In scrolling shoot ‘em up StreetPass Squad, recruit Mii characters into an intergalactic police force and defend the galaxy from a bunch of evil space pirates, the Gold Bone Gang! Rescue Mii characters that you’ve encountered via StreetPass, then soup up your ship’s offenses with a range of weapons that differ depending on each Mii character’s shirt colour!
In StreetPass Battle, conquer the world with a mighty StreetPass army! Choose a type of army – Medieval, Shogun or Futuristic – and take on 20 countries, each with their own fearsome leader. Unite the whole world under your rule by besting them on the battlefield in rock, paper, scissors-style matches. Outwit your foe by dividing your troops into battalions of Horsemen, Spearmen and Archers and watch your army grow with every victory!
In StreetPass Garden, bring blooms to life and grow a beautiful garden with StreetPass! Ensure that your flowers get all the water they need by meeting as many people as possible – every person you pass visits with watering can in hand, helping your current plant to grow. Cross-pollinate with other players’ flowers to create dozens of hybrids, or even completely new flowers.
Take on the role of a paranormal detective and investigate a ghost-infested mansion in StreetPass Mansion! Clamber through 30 floors creaking with ghouls, piecing together the floor plan with segments of map supplied by any petrified Mii characters that you’ve stumbled upon. Battle ghoulish enemies, taking advantage of different weapon types to expose their weaknesses. Weapons can also be combined and upgraded for faster, more powerful attacks!

To purchase additional games for StreetPass Mii Plaza, select the Shop icon from the plaza menu. Choose the game you want to purchase, then speak to the rabbit to proceed with the purchase process. Your Nintendo 3DS or 2DS system must be updated to system software version 6.0.0-12E or higher to purchase the additional StreetPass Mii Plaza games.
Remember: for a limited time, each individual game is R48 instead of R60, and the bundle of all four games is R120 instead of R180, but only until 23:59 (local time) on July 13th 2014!
