    Whether you’re new to the Wii Fit series’ unique combination of fitness and fun, or you’re an experienced player, you can find everything you need to get started with Wii Fit U for Wii U, available at retailers from today.

    If you don’t own a balance board yet, you can pick one up at retailers or online. They are sold separately. If you already have a balance board, look for the game packaged with the brand new Fit Meter, a unique accessory that you wear throughout the day to measure your activity level.

    The Fit Meter is much more than a pedometer: as well as counting your steps, it can detect six different levels of activity, from resting to running, for a much more accurate picture of your daily activity.     Don’t forget you can still download the 31-day free trial version of Wii Fit U from Nintendo eShop* until January 31st, 2014. You can try the game out for 31 days, beginning the day you first start the software on your Wii U, so you can try out all its exercises for yourself. If you want to keep playing, you can unlock the permanent version of the software just by pairing a Fit Meter, sold separately.
