What are Pikmin? They’re like tiny animals, and also like little plants. They grow on a planet known as PNF-404 but if you pull one out of the ground, they’ll follow you around and do all sorts of wonderful things for you! Just throw them at something (don’t worry, they don’t mind) and off they go!
Rock Pikmin are as hard as stone! They’ll smash through most things if you throw them, and can’t be squished. They really are rock-hard!
Red Pikmin are like little soldiers. They don’t get burned by flames so won’t be troubled by enemies that breathe fire. They can even walk through areas that are on fire!
You can send Blue Pikmin to fetch things or fight off beasties in the water. They are fast in pools or ponds, can swim, and even breathe underwater. Getting wet is the Blue Pikmin’s favourite thing!
These bright Yellow Pikmin work well with electricity – they glow when they hold hands and can light up things. You can throw them higher than any other Pikmin, too.
Winged Pikmin can fly! This makes them very useful for carrying objects or moving things in your way. They’re just perfect for dealing with other creatures that can fly!
