The island of Fiestaville never stops – wherever you go, wherever you look, there’s always a festival in full swing. But one of the isle’s inhabitants is not like the others: sleepy head Siesta can slumber through anything. Whether he’s smashing head-first through blocks, pinging off pinball-style bumpers or beating bosses that threaten to crash the party, Siesta doesn’t blink an eyelid!
Put Siesta’s bedsprings to the test through a cross-country carnival, all without stirring him awake. Using his robust bed, bounce Siesta into the air to barrel through blocks, grab point-scoring grapes and activate wacky contraptions as you move through side-scrolling levels to your goal – and make sure he always rebounds safely when he drops back towards the ground! Tap the Touch Screen at the moment of impact to give Siesta a speed boost and send him flying off the right side of bed!
No shindig is ever the same in Fiestaville. Each of the eight different regions has its own preferred theme: the desert of BBQ Pass celebrates in a ‘50s drive-in movie setting, while the celebrations are sky high at the 1000 Ft Festival, which takes place above the clouds! Every area brings its own unique party tricks too, including fireball-spewing Fire Piñata, which can be used to trigger high-scoring chain reactions, and Fan Blocks that can blow Siesta off-course. Luckily, there are also plenty of power-ups to help out: hit a Flame Crate to help Siesta burn right through obstacles without rebounding, or gain some strange Fiesta bedfellows, multi-ball style, when you collide with a Fiesta Crate.
If you tire of using the standard bed, hop into alternative game modes that change the pace of play. Fire Siesta straight up into the air with the powerful, but more narrow, Party Cannon; float loftily through stages using the Fan Bed; or go for Gold Medals in frantic Time Trials! Effortlessly switch between control modes at any time without changing any options: whether you’re more comfortable using the Touch Screen or buttons, anybody can settle into Siesta Fiesta!
