    Requirements for transferring data from Wii to Wii U

    In order to transfer from Wii to Wii U, you will need the following:

    • Your Wii console
    • A Wii Remote or Wii Remote Plus controller
    • Your Wii U console
    • An SD Card or SDHC Card with at least 512MB of free space
    • A broadband Internet connection

    Note: Your Wii and Wii U consoles must have matching country settings.
