Open the app while playing compatible games to voice chat with your friends as you play.
Users must be aged 13 or above and have a Nintendo Account in order to use the voice chat features of the Nintendo Switch Online smartphone app.
Devices using iOS 9.0 or later are supported.
Devices using Android 4.4 or later are supported.
Compatible with games such as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Splatoon 2 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Special features for compatible games
With Smash World, you can easily view recommended videos and stages that players have posted from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
If you find some stages you like, simply tap on them to ready some downloads for the next time you start up Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It’s also possible to view your spirit teams, or create new teams and send them to your game.
In Splatoon 2, you can use SplatNet 2 to see your online battle stats, share them on social media, and order new gear to use in-game.
With NookLink, you can talk to your Animal Crossing: New Horizons friends with text or voice chat, view your Best Friends list to see who's online or use Reactions in-game with just a tap of the screen.
You can also scan in QR codes of your custom designs from either Animal Crossing: New Leaf or Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, then bring them to your island to show off your style!
