    24/04/2015

Calling all agents – the President needs you in Code Name: S.T.E.A.M., coming exclusively to Nintendo 3DS family systems on May 15th! Take control of a squad of super-agents, fight off aliens aplenty and strike up a win for the history books in this turn-based strategy shooter. Get a grasp on the situation and get a thorough briefing before your mission at our updated Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. gamepage! What’s more, if you want to get a taste of the action ahead of launch, there’s a free demo* just waiting to be downloaded from Nintendo eShop now!

It’s the age of steam, and everything’s going smoothly with the added convenience of steam technology – until aliens touch down and start causing chaos! With a team of up to four elite agents, strategise and shoot through maps filled with alien invaders, dodging behind cover and finding vantage points to get the upper hand. There’s no overhead map of the battlefield in Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. either; you can only see the battle from the point of view of your agents, so their positions are vital.

Plan your movements carefully, as every step and shot is powered by your steam gauge. If you run out of steam in an awkward position, you’ll be a sitting duck. If you hold back some steam at the end of your turn, you can launch counter-attacks on approaching threats during the enemy’s turn – but your opponents can do the same, so watch your step!

Find out all about how to play, the single-player and multiplayer modes, how the game uses amiibo and more on our updated Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. gamepage. It’s time to go full steam ahead!

Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. will be available from shops and as a downloadable version from Nintendo eShop on May 15th, only on Nintendo 3DS family systems.
