  • In shops and on Nintendo eShop now: Xenoblade Chronicles 3D

    02/04/2015

Steel yourself, for a momentous adventure begins in Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, out now exclusively for New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL. A legendary story, vast lands, and fierce battles all await in this handheld RPG of immense proportions!

As hero Shulk, you set forth on a mission of revenge to destroy the Mechon. Accompanied by supporting characters Dunban, Reyn and Sharla, among others, you’ll experience extensive exploration, and battle against mechanical enemies, using strategy and special powers with a variety of characters.

You will be drawn into battles with roaming enemies, each visible in the field. Combat combines action game-style attacks and turn-based tactics: pick your moment during battle to perform special actions known as 'Arts', which, once used, must cool down.

There are lots of extras to discover about what's new in this portable version of the acclaimed Wii original, including Collection Mode, which features nearly 200 in-game character models and soundtrack excerpts to amass. There's a handsome Shulk amiibo to aid your collection quest, a set of slick, minimal cover plates for New Nintendo 3DS*, and a gorgeous HOME Menu theme available to anyone who purchases the game from Nintendo eShop before 9th April 2015. Head over to the official Xenoblade Chronicles 3D website to discover everything you need to know about this portable version of the acclaimed Wii RPG.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is available from shops and as a downloadable** version from Nintendo eShop now, only on New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL.

*Cover plates are for New Nintendo 3DS only, and are not compatible with New Nintendo 3DS XL.
