Featuring a unique multiplayer fighting game that lets you trade blows using extendable weaponised arms, this game includes elements of both boxing and shooting games, plus an all-new cast of characters.

The player holds one Joy-Con in each hand and throws left and right punches at the opponent. Characters can jump and dash, and players can bend their punches by twisting their hands as they swing. One of the biggest features is the ability to equip two types of customisable ARMS per fighter. These ARMS range from standard gloved ARMS to curved weapons like boomerangs. Each arm has a special attribute like fire, ice or electricity that activates when delivering a charge punch.

As players fight through the game, they will rack up in-game currency that can be used in ARM Getter mode to win new ARMS for their fighters. This fast-paced game can be played in 1-v-1 matches or even 2-v-2* for more entertainingly chaotic battles.

Choose your favourite control scheme and get punching!

Holding both Joy-Con controllers in a thumbs-up grip, jab your hands forward to punch and tilt the Joy-Con controllers to move. Twist the Joy-Con after a punch to curve your character's arm!

Or you could try these control schemes:

When playing in handheld mode or using the Joy-Con grip, Nintendo Switch Pro Controller or a single Joy-Con horizontally, you can use the Left Stick to curve your punches, too!

Hold the dash button to charge, then let fly with a powerful charge punch!

You can dash even while jumping. This'll help you stay in the air longer and change the timing of your landing.

Want to let loose with a charge punch the moment you finish a jump? Keep holding the jump button while leaping to store up even more power!

Are you ready for some three-player free-for-all matches? Use the directional buttons to change targets like a pro!

When you get knocked down, you'll get up in the direction you tilt the Joy-Con controllers.

CI_NSwitch_Arms_Rush.jpg

Unleashing a rush will deflect any incoming punches in that instant! Don't forget to follow up with a flurry of your own punches!

When selecting a fighter, you can change their colour scheme by pressing and holding down the Left Stick, then moving it up, down, left or right. Confirm your choice with the A Button and you're ready to go!

The next Party Crash event starts at 11:00 local time on December 8th and ends at 11:00 local time on December 11th.

Party Crash

Every now and then, the ARMS Lab sponsors a special Party Match takeover called…Party Crash!

CI_NSwitch_Arms_partycrash_JackYokoku.jpg

What is Party Crash?

Party Crash is a time-limited online* event that lasts around 72 hours! When a Party Crash starts, players from all over the world can join in, enjoy some fights, win points and raise their Lab Level. When the party’s over, all players are rewarded with in-game currency and badges based on the level they reach. It’s win-win really!

Which fighters can take part?

As the sponsor of these events, the ARMS Lab chooses two featured fighters for each Party Crash and pits them against each other in a little competition of sorts.

By playing as either of the two featured fighters, you’ll earn yourself some extra points which will help raise your Lab Level. Don’t want to pick a side? No pressure! You’re free to use any fighter you want during Party Crash. After the event, the results of the Party Crash and each fighter’s point total will be announced!

How can I maximise my earnings/prizes?

As well as playing as featured fighters, there are Bonus ARMS that you can equip to increase the points you earn. Bonus ARMS change every 15 minutes during Party Crash, so make sure you keep mixing ‘em up!

There are also Bonus Periods that, from time to time, will add new twists on familiar match types in return for extra points. You may find that your ARMS are randomised each time you fight, or that your rush gauge is always full. There’s even a one hit KO mode – it's pretty intense!

Sign me up!

Ready to party? Check in-game and on the official website to find out when the next Party Crash is happening and find out how you can get involved!
